THE PURPOSE OF LIFE : The Answer is….

The purpose of life is to DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO! What else Shall you do with your OWN LIFE?

·         Should You do what other People want you to do?

·         Should You do what your parents expect you to do?

·         Should You do what your religious community expects of you?

·         Should You do what Society imposes on you?

·         Should you live to make other people happy?

·         Should you live to satisfy the approval of others?

·         Should you do things that make you Miserable?

·         Should you do things that don’t bring you Joy?

·         Is there anybody that exists that is more of an expert about you Than YOU?

·         Should You live life in a way where you will look back and regret NOT doing Something?

·         Is it okay to live the life that you OWN doing Anything that you DON’T want to Do?

The answer to these Questions is a BIG, FAT, NO!

If you wanna be miserable...Great! At least you are doing what you want to do and being what you want to be. If you don't you want to be miserable, then simply change your mind and be happy. Happiness is a decision.

Do not let anyone discourage you from DOING WHAT YOU WANNA DO, They are not the expert of you, YOU ARE THE EXPERT OF YOU!

If you take the risk to DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO, you will find a strange peace you may have never felt before.

If everyone suddenly followed our hearts desire, the world would be an instant UTOPIA! It’s really that freakishly Simple. 

If you are NOT doing what you want to do in life, then you are simply wasting your life.

QUESTION GOD!

QUESTION GOD!

I was born and raised in St. Louis Mo...a HUGE Catholic City. I grew up Catholic Christian from childhood where I attended St. Alphonsus Rock Church (Black Catholic Church). I also attended an All-Boy Catholic Jesuit High School (St. Louis University High College Preparatory) in St. Louis. This afforded many opportunities to Question God or to 'CALL GOD OUT' so to speak? I am thankful that it was encouraged in my high school Theology Classes.Below I provide a List of Questions that I USED to have for God and Questions that I STILL have for God.  These "once were" or 'still are' my questions. They do not, necessarily, reflect the views of my Family and Friends. Personally, it is important for me to create a relationship with a Higher Power and to do that I've always felt compelled to ask God questions that I deem crucial for my Spiritual Journey. These questions led me out of Catholic Cacoon and into my ever-growing spiritual journey.

 Old Questions I Had for God as a Catholic/Christian:

1. If God is So Loving, Why Would You Punish Someone for ETERNITY with Firestorm for 75 years of a Bad Life? How is this Fair and Just?
2. Why would you send ALL MUSLIMS, ALL JEWS, ALL BUDDHIST, ALL NON-CHRISTIANS TO HELL just because they Don't believe "Jesus" is the WAY?
3. Why would homosexuals go to hell? How fair and loving is that?
4. Did Jesus have a sex life? What was his sexuality like? How come the church completely ignores his sexuality(ages 13-30)? Would this be healing for sooo many adolescent christian youth's if they knew about Jesus' Sexuality especially ages 13-30?
5. Why do you allow so many horrible, bad things in the world if you are so loving and caring?
6. If Jesus is the ONLY SON of YOU(GOD) and we are, suppposedly, all God's Children, Are the rest of us a. BUNCH OF STEP-CHILDREN? 
7. Why is having sex out of marriage bad, when it feels SO Good(with the right loving person)?
8. Why does the Straight and Narrow, Good Path Life seem so BORING?
9. How is it FAIR that we all are born into 'ORIGINAL SIN' because of two individuals, Adam and Eve? It's not like, some of us would have made the same choice.
10. What does God REALLY look like?

New Questions I have for GOD Currently:

1. What does it mean to 'Live in the Moment'? Am I living in the moment right now?
2. Am I doing Enough to achieve my Dreams and Goals in Life?
3. Am I playing my role in making the world a better place?
4. Am I successfully following, listening to my intuition? How do I know what my intuition Feels like?
5. Am I Happy Enough?
6. How do I get over my fear of success and/or fear of failure/rejection?
7. When Should I Speak?/When Should I Shut the F**k Up?
8. Please Explain the Psyche of people who pick Romney over Obama? Why/How/Where have they been misled?
9. What exactly is the EGO? Is mine SO BIG that I can't even see it in front of my face?!
10. Do I have the most optimal Work/Me-Time ratio or balance?

MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

I describe my relationship with God as like having a Best Friend who I can ask ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING. Our banter back and forth varies from Best Friends, Business Partner, Lover, Mentor, Parent.  I am, personally, comfortable using curse words and derogatory language in my PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God/Goddess. God is okay with it too! In MY relationship with HIM/HER it's not looked at as disrespectful...THANK GAWD!!(no pun intended)

I LOVE, COVET, CHERISH, APPRECIATE, INCORPORATE my PERSONAL Relationship with what I identify as GOD, GODDESS, UNIVERSE, HIGHER INTELLIGENCE, BIG DUDE/DUDETTE IN DA SKY! WE HAVE FUN!!!

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?

What is your personal relationship with God, Universe, etc.? Do you like/love your relationship with God? Do you and God have Fun together?!  Do you Question God?

Many people are intimidated to question GOD. Many view God as the End-All-Be-All of Authority and are afraid to Ask God questions and DEMAND for God to answer them. Many people are spiritually stifled because they don't even THINK to QUESTION GOD. Many People feel that they HAVE asked GOD questions, but Don't Get Answers.

HOW TO READ GOD'S ANSWER

How do you recognize the Answers? From what God has told me, it's simply the first feeling or thought you have after you ask your question. Actually, according to GOD, the answer comes even before you finish asking your questions. We just have to get good at catching the answers. We have to train ourselves to recognize the physiological signs of a GOD answer...similar to how we've subconsciously know how to read 'Car Language' from other drivers, with an ATTENTIVE EYE. The more we practice, the better we will get.

How To Read God's Answer

1. Ask the Question/s.

2. Consciously Focus on First Feeling and/or First Thought during the question or immediately after your question.

3. Note the Feeling and/or Thought.

4. Interpret the Feeling and/or Thought.

5. Assign/Apply what you FEEL or THINK should be the answer to your Life. :)

God/Goddess/Universe Etc will answer in a way that only YOU will quite understand.

STOP SNITCHING IS BLACK COMMUNITY SUICIDE
Whewww...I had to get that off of my chest! In my rich, beautiful, black culture, we, OBVIOUSLY, have so  many gifts that we offer the world and this planet. However, there is a mindset brewing in too many of our young, black, underrepresented youth that, Killing with Guns is 'COOL'. Thus momentum of that mindset is catching Steam, thus we see more Senseless Killings. What's More, In many of our black communities, we uphold, praise, and respect the STOP SNITCHING Policy. For those who are unfamiliar, it is when there are witnesses to a murder, the witnesses WILL NOT turn the MURDERER in to the police for fear of their life if the Bad Guy(or his family) found out You were the SNITCH! Understandable...Right? But, what ensues after that is STREET JUSTICE. The Victims Peeps seek revenge on Bad Guy, then Bad Guy Peeps Go Kill somebody else for some more STREET JUSTICE. Before you know it, there has been 3-8 more murders when it could have stopped at ONE Murder(Still too many).

 That is a very Successful way at eliminating any group of people at a Fast Pace! 'STOP SNITCHING' is BLACK COMMUNITY SUICIDE!!! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!

It is the 'STOP SNITCHING' Campaign that keeps Black People from finding OUR Killers. Black People Stay Quiet when we witness murder and White People Do ALL THEY CAN TO FIND AND SEND AWAY THIER KILLERS. THUS, WHITE PEOPLE HAVE A HIGHER SUCCESS RATE IN FINDING THE MURDERER THAN BLACK PEOPLE. It's a simple formula.

WOMEN:MEN THE MONOGAMY CONFUSION

DISCLAIMER: This entry is based off of pure generalities, very little scientific evidence, and no expert testimony. It is purely my observations as I've seen them thus far into my inexperienced life.

When it comes to Monogamy, Why are women, seemingly, better at it than men? Why is it the same storyline over and over and over throughout the ages?

Man meets Women...

Woman and Man Fall in love...

Woman and Man get into relationship...

Man cheats on Woman....

Woman Gets Hurt and/or Leaves...

Man feels like a Bad Person. 

It is, rarely, the precious 'Happily Ever After' ending scenario, we ALL FANTASIZE and HOPE for.

WHAT WOMEN WANT
Women, ultimately, want the ONE MAN who provides them with security, protection, and self-confidence. If they find that ONE MAN, they are GOOD! In so many cases if these attributes are fulfilled the woman will be very content with only having eyes for that ONE MAN and there is a strong likelihood she will not 'step out' on her man because of sexual reasons.

WHAT MEN WANT
Men, ultimately, want a woman that can Nurture, Support, Stabilize, and Comfort. When a man finds THAT WOMAN who fulfills these attributes he feels satisfied and, in many ways, complete. However, unlike women, MEN, in most cases, DO still have eyes for other women or still may want to sleep with other women. This attribute of MEN confuses WOMEN.

THE CONFUSION

This confuses WOMEN because it comes across as ungrateful, insensitive, unappreciative, and/or disrespectful when a guy expresses interests or sleeps with someone who is not his significant other. These feelings are justified because women, usually, have dedicated a vast amount of time, energy, emotional investment, dedication and devotion to that ONE GUY. Therefore, It makes the WOMEN feel significantly LESS SPECIAL and makes her 'FEEL DUMB' when a man sexually acts out his sexual desire with another woman who is NOT his significant other.

Men are confused because we have an Innate Need/Desire(or poor excuse), to want to "Spread our Seeds" similar to other Male-Types in nature. The problem is it does not fit within western societies current paradigm of dating.  Men can love a women with all of his heart, and still feel the strong urge to copulate with other women who is not his significant other.  Grant it, women can be sexually attracted to other guys, even while she is in a relationship, but MEN have an extra impetus that makes us less able to Self'-Control our Urges. Women seem to have the stronger self control of the two Human Types.

QUESTIONS FOR SOLUTIONS
HOW DO WE RECONCILE THESE TWO FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN WHEN IT COMES TO RELATIONSHIPS?

WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE SO THAT WOMEN DON'T GET THEIR FEELINGS HURT?

WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE SO MEN DON'T FEEL SEXUALLY STIFLED or BOXED IN?

IS MONOGAMY DYING?

ANOTHER DISCLAIMER:  I want to reiterate that this blog entry is VERY VERY generalized to get across a point. It does not include alternative relationships. I understand that there are Exceptions to this General Concept. I know that There are Men out there who are a "One-Women-kind-of-Guy" and there are Women out there who are a "More-Than-One-Man-Kind-Of-Girl", but I believe these are the exceptions. There is SO much more to be said about this Topic and if you have a different viewpoint...Please Share! :). I love being corrected. :) Which is where you come in.

QUIT YOUR JOB!!!:THE JOB CRISIS

MEMO:

WE ARE IN A JOB CRISIS!! THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE WORKING TOO MANY HOURS!! LIVES ARE AT STAKE!! It's so interesting to observe how we have decided to spend most of our 24 hour days working and sleeping. Here is a VERY, VERY generalized schedule of US Western Society:

7am. WAKE UP/FAMILY TIME : 2 HOURS

9am - 5pm -WORK : 8 HOURS

6pm-9 pm -  FAMILY TIME/FUN TIME : 3 HOURS

10pm-7am-SLEEP 8-10 HOURS

GENERALLY SPEAKING

5 HOURS-Family/Fun Time  vs. 8 HOURS - Work Time 

We Spend Two-Thirds(2/3) of our waking hours dedicated to another entity that is not our Family or Ourselves. We use our MOST productive and fruitful hours/energy as human beings daily usually towards something that is NOT our Dreams or Passions.  Is that wise? Is that the best use of our finite time on this RICH PLANET? Why as a society have we chosen that Work is more valuable than Family/Fun/Play time? If we were, on our deathbed will it be the Awesome Work we accomplish at Corporation A that will matter?...Perhaps...Or will it be the depth of the relationship of family and friends next you holding your hand on your death bed? SELF PLEASURE YOURSELF!

Let me just keep it Straight with ya...IF YOU HAVE NOT PUT YOUR HAPPINESS AS YOUR #1 PRIORITY, then you need some Serious Re-alocation of Priorities. If you are operating from a place that does not put YOUR Happiness first, then you are NOT operating at FULL OPTIMAL Capacity. I know some of you are natural nurturing, giving, loving people and you feel it is your DUTY to give your energy. However, be careful not to give it all away. One should always have "Replenishing Time" often. Replenishing Time may include but not limited to:

1. Sit your a$$ down and do NOTHING!
2. Watch a mind-numbing, yet entertaining show on TV..i.e "Keeping up With the Kardashians"
3. Play with your children.
4. Work on your Spiritual Development (Anyway you like).
5. Engage in a Fun, Safe, Bad, Naughty Habit.(Just do it...no one needs to know)
6. Physically exert yourself in your favorite Sport (It's Common Knowledge exercise releases endorphins)
7. Play Angry Birds.
8. Go buy your favorite treat from your favorite food place (For me it's the sugarfree cheesecake brownies from Whole Foods.)
9. Turn to the Comedy Channel on your XM/Sirius Satellite Radio and LAUGH!!!
10. Read Your Horoscope!

Here are some Big Life Ways to make Happiness #1 Priority in your life:

1. Make your Passion Your Career
2. Pursue a Life Long Dream
3. Get out of a Toxic, Unhealthy, Non-Fun Relationship
4. Appreciate all that you do have
5. Contact a Family Member you haven't talked to in Years
6. Choose the Peaceful Way over the Non-Peaceful Way
7. Defend your Dreams if needed.

Happiness Is The New Black

Hello Everyone,
My name is Jae Haile' Phillips and I am THE CHIEF HAPPINESS OFFICER. If you haven't notice Happiness is making a comeback! It seems to me that more and more people are deciding to do what makes them happy FIRST. People are starting to make Happiness a priority. This is great news for the whole world. Approaching this from the most logical way, if more people choose happiness then more people will be happy and the Whole World would become happier EXPONENTIALLY!!! That's just the natural sequence of events. So what can you contribute to the happiness QUOTIENT of the Globe? :

10 Things That Add Happiness To Someone's Day or Your Day:

1. Genuinely open and hold the door for someone with a smile :)
2. Compliment someone on an OBVIOUSLY NICE Haircut :)
3. Compliment someone on some COOL pair of shoes or earrings. 
4. Ask someone to help carry their bags and really alot several minutes in your day to do it just in case they say 'Yes'. 
5. Pay for Someones Water or Ice Tea behind you in line at the Convenient Store.
6. 'Like' a cool pic or Status on Someone's Facebook Account.
7. Dance in public so people can smile or laugh at you!
8. Have "Compliment Hour" where you give out compliments for a WHOLE HOUR straight.
9. Skip instead of walking and Skip instead of running.
10. Shave a 1/2 HOUR off of Work each day and increase it from there.(for your health's sake).

Our health is DIRECTLY linked to our Happiness. The more we laugh and surround ourselves with positivity the stronger our immune system gets!
